SUMMARY:Lake District Ultra Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Join the Women in Estate Agency Team and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace – all while raising money for Breast Cancer Now\, in memory of WiEA committee member Sarah Edmundson. \nThis is no walk in the park! From basecamp in Kendal\, you will take on the 29km 1st Quarter Challenge. Follow the River Sprint to your first rest stop at St. Mary’s Church in Longsleddale to re-charge. Then the final push along tough hills on some of the Garburn Pass\, with stunning views en route\, before a welcome and celebration at Ambleside after your journey. \nIf you are a little apprehensive about the 1st Quarter then take on the Ambleside 10km Loop. Park/Arrive at Kendal and take a pre-arranged bus transfer to Ambleside start line. The route explores a terrain along Rydal Water’s edge and includes stunning views of ‘5 Lakes’. \nBoth routes finish in Ambleside where you will receive a medal\, T-shirt\, glass of fizz\, & a picnic lunch (optional) to celebrate your achievements. \nAfter your challenge catch a pre-booked bus transfer back to Kendal Rugby Club. Then from (time tbc) the celebration begins in the Kentdale Suite and Lounge. You’ll be greeted with a complimentary drink and 2-course meal\, and celebration of your incredible achievement in memory of Sarah. \n£179 for 29KM Challenge \n£139 for 10KM Challenge
