Women in Estate Agency (WiEA), the not-for-profit movement championing gender equality across the estate agency industry, has announced two new leadership appointments that further reinforce its vision for inclusive and sustainable change.
Kirsty Franks, Founder of Frank Marketing and a longstanding member of the WiEA board, has been appointed Vice Chair. Known for her strategic insight and dedication to elevating industry voices, Kirsty’s promotion reflects her ongoing contribution to WiEA’s growth and advocacy work.
Joining the board is Shanice Gandhi, Commercial Director at Moss Properties. With her strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of operational excellence, Shanice brings valuable experience from across sales, lettings, and business development. Her appointment is part of WiEA’s continued commitment to building a representative and forward-thinking leadership team.
Verona Frankish, CEO of YOPA and Chair of the WiEA board, welcomed the appointments: “Kirsty’s energy, vision and ability to connect with people make her an exceptional choice as Vice Chair and I look forward to working closely with Kisty in the months ahead. Shanice’s impact in the commercial space and her understanding of leadership dynamics will bring a new perspective to the board and we welcome this fresh approach. Both embody what WiEA stands for – progress, collaboration and the courage to drive change. I am delighted that we have now filled all vacancies for the coming year and I couldn’t be happier with the range of skills, experience and diversity that we have on the Board, representing the WiEA community.”
These appointments follow a year of significant momentum for WiEA. From the launch of its Supporters Charter to a sold-out 2025 conference, the organisation continues to deliver on its promise to empower, inspire and support women across the sector. The 2026 conference is set to take place on 5th March in London and is already generating significant interest.
WiEA’s board comprises 12 professionals from across the estate agency landscape, volunteering their time and expertise to help shift the industry towards greater equality and opportunity for all.
